Tim Moore: There's probably no more historically respected name in family programming and as a vacation destination than Disney. And yet, Disney today is promoting an agenda that would be considered abhorrent to most traditional families. For example, over the last several weeks, Disney corporation has got into some hot water for its stance on a particular bill that was signed into law in Florida.
Has the House of Mouse become courageous or contagious?
Nathan Jones: Florida bill HB1557 was passed that makes sure that teachers cannot teach sexuality to children in kindergarten through third grade. As expected, the Woke establishment went bananas over this restriction. Their social justice warriors started calling it the "Don't Say Gay Bill," though there's nothing about restricting that word in the bill.
Governor DeSantis of Florida pointed out that Disney wasn't even interested in challenging this bill while the lawmakers were writing it. But, the Woke mob got mad and needed a big vocal mouthpiece, so they went to Disney and pressured their CEO to pick up their cause. Disney, a company whose entire existence should be about entertaining families and children, entered the fray to condemn the bill because the Woke mob got their president all riled up. He started publically attacking DeSantis for the purpose of trying to stop this bill from being signed into law. DeSantis held firm.
How shocking that Disney is fighting to sexualize our kindergartners through third graders! This is the same company that just in the last few months had a child pedophile ring exposed within their ranks and where employees walked off the job for a day because these employees believed Disney was not giving the LGBTQ+ community enough recognition. Top executives bragged in a teleconference about injecting more queer and other divergent sexual lifestyles into their media.
Tim Moore: What's happening at Disney is they've pitched themselves over into the moral insanity that's rampaging throughout our society. The sad reality is that a very small but vocal minority within the Disney family of employees are the ones controlling the agenda all the way up to the CEO.
Disney execs have also brought in diversity and gender coaches to make sure that they insert more "queerness" into their programming. One high-level exec said she has been unchallenged in her efforts to push more queerness throughout the Disney line of products. So, if you sit with your children or grandchildren in front of the Disney Channel or Disney+ and watch any of their recent programming, I promise you, you'll encounter programming meant to indoctrinate your children into a worldview that is antithetical to God's moral law as revealed in the Scriptures.
Disney has been engaged in the fight against this bill, in part, because it has been totally mislabeled by the Media. It's apparent that most of the people complaining clearly haven't even read the bill or law because they are claiming that it forces these elementary teachers to not say the word gay, which is far from the truth. Again, we're talking about kids ages five through eight whom the LGBTQ+ proponents desire to sexualize and promote all kinds of perverse ideas to our children.
Nathan Jones: You've got to wonder, too, about some of the teachers who are protesting this law. They're actually saying that as a kindergarten teacher they need to express their sexual identity to their students. Now, wait a minute! Should we be sexualizing anybody at that young of an age? Of course not! And yet, they are trying to teach the youth, and especially little kids, that they really cannot know what their gender is but that they can choose their gender. They wish to encourage little kids to become gender-benders and gender-fluid, as if that's the norm both physically and socially.
What we're really seeing with this protest is the end times sign of how society is morally degenerating to the point that it becomes useless to God. As shown repeatedly throughout the Bible, once a society becomes that degenerate, that's when God steps in and destroys it, either through economic collapse or civil war or due to an outside attack.
We're seeing the United States rapidly degenerate morally, but I wouldn't limit this fall to just the United States, as we're seeing this moral collapse happening all over the world. Gay rights marches and employee sexual diversity seminars are being held in almost every country in the free world.
Be assured, I feel for these people addicted to sexual sin. We want them to know Jesus Christ and His salvation and forgiveness. We want them to find their true identity in their Creator — Jesus Christ. But, at the same time, they are purposefully trying to sexualize children in order to create more sexual deviants so that their unbiblical views on sex become the majority viewpoint in society. Now, how can humanity survive when the majority of humanity is homosexual?
Tim Moore: Humanity will not survive long with this self-destructive attitude, and frankly, that is what Satan wants.
What Can Be Done
Tim Moore: So, what can the average Christian do about big companies advocating for sin?
For starters, many years ago, when my wife and I began to invest a small amount of money every month into mutual funds and stocks, we made it very clear that we did not want to invest in what we considered "sin stocks." That means that we wouldn't invest in tobacco, alcohol, or pornography. We were not going to encourage investing in entities that promote wickedness. I just won't do it! I don't want to profit off of vices. Some investment counselors would challenge me about these stocks being very profitable, but as a Christian, I don't care. I'm not going to be invested in companies that actively sell sin. So, I recommend you sell your stocks in Disney.
Second, for those who visit Disney World or Disneyland on a regular basis, sure it has always been a wonderful place to take your family, but right now we need to weigh whether taking our children to Disney or setting them in front of the television to watch modern Disney productions is encouraging and supporting an entity which is now perpetuating wickedness to even the youngest in our society. That's a consideration I think each one of us needs to make between ourselves and God.
Nathan Jones: It's very hard to boycott Disney because as a parent corporation it owns so many more companies than most realize. Yes, they own Marvel, they own Pixar, they own Star Wars, but they also own news corporations such as ABC and ESPN. They own restaurants and a cruise line. Disney controls a massive industry so you really are challenged to boycott everything they control and all at the same time. But, you can still make people aware of what their position is concerning teaching sex to little children.
I believe in the end the Lord will honor those who stand up against activist corporations by calling them out and calling them back to what they were meant to do, and for Disney, that's creating wholesome family entertainment. I'd imagine Walt Disney is proverbially rolling over in his grave, or at least his cryogenic chamber, for he created Disney to entertain children and bring them joy and not to sexualize them and pervert their lives into becoming gender-benders. That's not why Disney exists, and by becoming anti-family and off-mission, as a corporation it's certainly not going to last very long, if God has anything to do about it.
Tim Moore: So, third, if you are a stockholder in Disney right now, please make your voice heard through various stockholder meetings, or by contacting the company to share your grievances, or advocate locally to your friends and newspaper. Let's face it, regardless of whether one is invested in a Disney corporation, as Christian we are primarily stockholders in the Kingdom of Heaven, so we are always to be an advocate for what is godly and true as revealed in the Word of God. For every one of us invested in the Kingdom of Heaven, let us be outspoken stockholders of the true Kingdom right here in our world and push back against the foolishness of man that's being waged against morality, even when it comes from the House of Mouse.
