Tim Moore: Welcome once again to Christ in Prophecy!
Over the past five episodes, we’ve brought you portions of the messages by the lineup of speakers at our 2025 Annual Bible Prophecy Conference. We started off with Avi Mizrachi, Baruch Korman, and Mottel Baleston, each a Jewish teacher or preacher serving a primarily Jewish audience.
Nathan Jones: Then Tim shared excerpts from the message he delivered, followed by Dan Price, a Gentile minister serving the Jews and Druze in the Galilee region of Israel.
Tim Moore: The last speaker in our Conference was our own Dr. Jones. Nathan, I had asked you to speak on “Why All Christians Should Support Israel,” and even in the face of rising global anti-Semitism and antagonism, too many Christians have bought into the lie that God has washed His hands of the Jewish people.
Nathan Jones: Tragically true, Tim. Alliteration aside, the Bible could not be clearer that God has a plan for the Jewish people in the End Times. As a matter of fact, you could say that they are the key to understanding God’s prophetic time clock.
Tim Moore: I couldn’t agree more. And of course, we’ve made it very clear that we, both personally and here at Lamb & Lion Ministries, stand with Israel. There can be no doubt that is a biblically supported position, which brings us back to your presentation.
Nathan Jones: I was excited about the topic I was asked to address because it is timely and urgent recognition of the responsibility and privilege the Church has to be a conduit of blessing to the Jewish people. There are fewer commands that God is more emphatic about than His charge to bless the chosen descendants of Israel. Even when He disciplines them as sons, He holds accountable those who gloat over their scourging.
Tim Moore: We live in a day when many are actively calling for the elimination of Israel, leaving many Christians unprepared to meet the ferocity of the animosity toward Israel with biblical truth. Let’s get right to it and share a portion of what you had to say at our Conference.
Part 2: Nathan Jones’ Presentation
Nathan Jones: Why Christians should support Israel? I’ve got the last part because we’re going to take everything that we have learned in the last few sessions and give these guys another hand again. My goodness. You know, I think if we added all the decades of study and teaching that our previous speakers have had, you probably have like 200 and some years. Isn’t that amazing? So, we’re going to tie this all together.
So why Christians should support Israel? Well, as you know, on October 7th, 2023, 6,000 Gazans burst through the fence into Israel, and like something out of a Mongol Horde, attacked everybody they could come across. They raped, they pillaged, they threw babies into microwaves, and they dragged, they killed 1300 Jewish casualties were caused as a result. And they even dragged bodies, naked bodies of women through the streets, laughing and mocking. Then they dragged 250 people like Morlocks down into the ground, and many are still there today.
How hideous, how horrible. And what was the response of the world? After about a heartbeat, the world said Israel is at fault, and came out in the streets, from the streets to the campuses, supporting Hamas, supporting Gaza, supporting the barbarians and being against Israel. And as a result, they began burning synagogues down and even shooting young, innocent Jewish couples in the streets.
And you know what’s really scary about October 7th? The silence from the pulpits. It’s deafening how most of our pastors don’t seem to know how to deal with Israel, this problem, this conundrum. Or even worse, they’re joining the Palestinian cause, and they’re marching with the very same people that would say, “Death to the Jews, from the river to the sea, Palestine will be free.” You know what that means? Murder all the Jews. That’s what that means.
Well, I don’t know where you land on your support of Israel, but in this time we have together, I want to say that you’re probably in one of these three groups. Either you don’t know why you should support Israel, especially if you’re watching online. “Well, why should I? I mean, what’s the argument for that?” Or maybe you’re in the second camp, “I’m having trouble defending why I believe that Israel should be supported.” You know, you’re searching, you’re trying to get the answers to that. Or three, I want to help others understand why supporting Israel is important. You want to add to your knowledge about why we as Christians should support Israel.
So this is what we’re going to do in the time that we have. This is our roadmap together. We’re going to explore three of God’s covenants. We’re then going to debunk seven outlandish lies about Israel. And then we’re going to declare six reasons why Christians should support Israel. That’s what we’re going to do. And what is the purpose? I want to take you from a, “Should Christians support Israel?” To, “Christians MUST support Israel.” That’s what I hope when we leave today, that you leave saying, “Christians must support Israel.”
Part 3: The Covenants
Tim Moore: All right, Nathan, given the limitations of our TV time slot, we will have to just kind of summarize a portion of your presentation. So what exactly were the three Covenants that you were referring to?
Nathan Jones: Well, you have to start with the Abrahamic Covenant. That is an unconditional, irrevocable, everlasting covenant that God made to Abraham, and then Isaac and Jacob. It’s the foundational covenant for all the covenants after that. Second is the Land Covenant, where God promises a certain land to the Jewish people, as long as they stay obedient. Deuteronomy 28-30.
Tim Moore: So that one is kind of conditional, not in terms of their possession or their ownership, but of their ability to enjoy the ownership. We use the analogy of a car. A child might be given a car, but not able to drive it if they don’t obey their parents, so…
Nathan Jones: And that’s the analogy I used in my presentation. You’re right, they will always have the land that’s designated from a river in Egypt up to the Euphrates, but they have to be in obedience to enjoy the full possession, and that won’t come into the Millennial Kingdom.
Tim Moore: And so that’s why we know that God actually sent them out, they were dispersed in fulfillment of Jesus’ prophecy, and also in fulfillment of Moses’ declaration in Deuteronomy, that if they didn’t obey, there would be certain consequences. But they never were dispossessed of the land, they just weren’t able to live in it for a season.
Nathan Jones: Right, right. And then you’ve got the Davidic Covenant, which promises an everlasting, eternal descendant of David, which we know is Jesus Christ, to sit and rule and reign from Jerusalem and the Jewish people to be a priestly people. That hasn’t happened yet. When Jesus returns, He’s going to set up His kingdom, and the believing Jewish remnant will be that priestly people.
Tim Moore: Well, this brings up the next question, which was fascinating. I love your talk about the seven lies that the mainstream media and the anti-Semitic agents on both extremes of our political spectrums today are advocating. So what are those seven lies? And we’ll have to kind of go on a lightning round for these.
Nathan Jones: Okay. Well, the first one is that the Jews killed Jesus. Jesus said He took up His own life as commanded by the Father. So, the Jews and Gentiles both killed Jesus. That’s a lie.
How about the Jews have been disinherited because of their disbelief? Well, we know that’s not the case at all because they’re fulfilling prophecies in this day and age.
Or the Church has replaced Israel and receives their inheritance? Well, spiritual, yes, but we have no claim to the land of Israel and the Middle East.
The fourth lie is, the regathering of the Jewish people can’t be from God because they haven’t accepted Jesus as Messiah yet. Isaiah 11 says otherwise, they’ll be gathered in unbelief before they come to belief.
The fifth is, to support Israel is to support every action of the Israeli government. A lot of Christians are hung up on that. That is not what supporting Israel means. I don’t agree with every action of my own government, much less Israel.
The sixth is that the Jews stole the Palestinian’s land and lived there illegally. The UN would disagree with them. Resolution 181 gives the right to the land. Plus, the Jewish people bought up much of that empty wasteland. They hold the title deeds.
And the seventh is, to support Israel is to hate the Palestinian people. A lot of Christians are hung up on that, too. That is absolutely not the case. We want salvation both for the Jew and the Gentiles.
Tim Moore: We certainly do. And you know this idea that the Jews just don’t deserve God’s grace, and my answer is, you’re right, but neither do I. Neither do you. That is the Gospel. We don’t get what we deserve, instead, God promises to give salvation, unmerited grace, to those who put their trust in Jesus Christ. So His promises are always yes and amen. But for now, let’s get back to the rest of your message.
Part 4: Nathan Jones’ Presentation Continued
Nathan Jones: We got the biblical, we got the legal, now let’s look at the common sense reasons why Christians should support Israel. Number one. Democracy. We Americans love that, right, democracy. You know, the nation of Israel is the only Western-style democracy in a sea of Islamic tyranny. Supporting Israel is to support the only nation in the Middle East which offers religious freedom and human rights to women. So, democracy.
Okay, how about defense? Do you know the existence of Israel protects the West and Christianity because they stand as the first line of defense against violent, radical Islam. The existence of Israel has protected the West from Islamic attacks. If Israel fell, then we’d be living under Islamic attacks all the time.
Democracy, defense, how about economics? Do you know that Israel contributes to the world a mind-boggling amount of food, medicine, and cutting-edge technologies that raise the standard of living throughout the world? As Avi showed us, so much technology that we take for granted, firewalls and thumb drives, medical devices, traveling, you name it, computers, comes from the brilliant minds that God has given the Jewish people. The world would be a sad, sad place without the contributions of Israel. So economic reasons.
How about blessings? Let’s just go back to the Bible again. Genesis 12, God says, “I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse him who curses you; in you all the families of the earth will be blessed.” If there weren’t any Jewish people, we wouldn’t have the Bible, we wouldn’t have the Messiah, we wouldn’t have the promises, and we wouldn’t have the Millennial Priesthood that the Lord promises.
How about biblical reasons? I mean, wouldn’t you say it rather goes without saying that it’s biblically correct for Christians to support God? Well, if God loves the Jewish people and He wants them to return to Him, then isn’t that something that we Christians should want as well? I mean, it just seems like a ridiculous argument. If God wants the Jewish people get saved, shouldn’t the Christians want the Jewish people to get saved? Instead, we kind of act like a spoiled, jealous sibling. Okay, so that’s biblical. God wants it, we should want it.
All right. One more. This is a Bible Prophecy Conference, prophetic. Prophetic. You know, we’re living in exciting times when we can witness Bible prophecy being fulfilled right before our very eyes. You know, many of the End Time Bible prophecies focus on the Jewish people and their nation. I’m going to give you a summary of the prophecies concerning the Jews that are being fulfilled currently in our day and age. If I had enough time, I’d go through all the verses, but I’ll just sum them up for you.
It’s this: The Jewish people are being regathered back to the land of Israel. “He will gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth.” Folks, as one of the speakers said earlier, have you seen a Hittite? Is the Mayan nation going to come back from the dead? No, the Iroquois League? But the nation of the Bible is coming back. The Jewish people are being regathered, just as Ezekiel 36 and 37 prophesied. That is a prophecy being fulfilled in our day and age.
How about the reestablishment of the nation of Israel? May 14th, 1948, the Lord said, “As soon as Zion was in labor, she gave birth to her children.” In other words, as soon as Israel became a nation in one day, then she was constantly attacked. The labor pains are the fighting and the world’s hatred against her all the time. The labor pains that Israel faces. That has been happening for the last 77 years.
We also read again that in Ezekiel 37, “I will make them one nation again and no longer shall they be two nations.” Remember in the Old Testament that the northern 10 tribes split became Israel and the southern two tribes became Judah? Well, they’re not returning as two separate countries, they’ll be one united country again. And that has already been fulfilled.
How about the land becoming bountiful again? The land that was desolate has become like a Garden of Eden. The wasted, desolate, and ruined cities are now fortified and inhabited. Over the years that I’ve been going to Israel, when I first went I think it was 2008, I was rather surprised, no offense to the Jewish people here, but it was a little primitive compared to the United States. You know, gas cost a fortune, so they barely had cars. You could hack on their Wi-Fi pretty simply. You know, the hotels were nice, but they were like stuck out of the ’60s.
And then, a few years later, I came back and it was like, “Wow, they got a lot done in just the last few years.” Then a few years later, I went back and I was like, “Oh my goodness, this rivals America.” And at the rate they’re going, they’ll be like 24 century Star Trek while we’re living in the stone ages. I mean, it’s amazing how quickly that God is having them rebuild that land, and taking a land that was desolate that nobody wanted.
When you drive north up through Caesarea Maritima and all, it’s endless flowers along the highways. You look at pictures from 100 years ago, it was just sand dunes, there was nothing. But Israel produces so much food in the world, and the Jewish people have just been blessed in that. We also learned earlier that the Hebrew language would be revived. The Lord said in Zephaniah 3, “I will restore to the people a pure language.”
The language of Hebrew that was only used ceremonially was brought back from the dead and made a common language. Matter of fact, as far as I know, if you go to Israel and become a citizen, you have to learn Hebrew. And that’s why I’ll never become a citizen of Israel. I could barely do English.
There’s another prophecy, that Jerusalem will become under the control of the Jewish people. You know, when Israel formed their nation in 1948, they couldn’t make it in Jerusalem, they had to make it in Tel Aviv. But Jerusalem has always been a promise to the Jewish people, and it’s also where the Messiah will set up His kingdom. “They shall dwell in the midst of Jerusalem.” Zechariah 8. And on June 7th, 1967, Israel regained control of Jerusalem.
The Bible also said that the entire world would focus on Jerusalem. The Lord said, “I will make Jerusalem a very heavy stone for all people, and all the nations of the earth will be gathered against it.” You know, I’ve been to Jerusalem, it’s nice, and I know this is going to sound a little heretical, but when I go on a tour of Israel, I like the Galilee a little better. Just my thing. Some people think Jerusalem is awesome, but is it D.C. or New York City, or any of these great metropolises? Not yet, but the Bible prophesies it’ll be the capital of the world.
And that’s why Satan wants it. That’s why the Vatican wants it. That’s why the UN wants it. That’s why the Arabs want it and the Muslims want it. They all want to control Jerusalem. Nice town, but is it really worth the whole world focusing on it? Because the Satanic world knows the purpose of controlling Jerusalem, that the Messiah will go there. But Jerusalem is in Jewish people’s hands this day. Let’s move into the future.
Let’s talk a little about Psalm 83. Some debate whether this is a prophecy, but whether you believe it’s a prophecy or not, listen to what the neighbors around Jerusalem say or Israel say. “They have taken crafty counsel against your people.” What do they say? “Come and let us cut them off from being a nation, that the name of Israel may be remembered no more, let them to be put to shame and perish.” I’ll give you a modern translation. “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free.” We are listening to that on the news every day, and Psalm 83 prophesied that.
Well, you wonder, is Israel going to be able to defeat these hostile Arab neighbors? Well, if you own a pager, you found out pretty quickly that you’re going to lose. Zechariah 12 says, “I will make the governors of Judah like a fire pan in the wood pile, like a fiery torch in the sheaves; they shall devour all the surrounding people, Jerusalem shall be inhabited again.” Israel, one of the smallest nations in the world, is one of the top 10 most effective militaries on the planet. Will the Jewish people defeat the Arab neighbors? Absolutely. At great cost? Yes, but they will defeat them.
The Bible prophesies, in another war, the Ezekiel 38 and 39 war, that Israel will then have a time of peace. Says, “I will go up to a peaceful people who dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls.” This is Gog, the leader of Magog, what we would interpret as the leader of Russia, who will lead a coalition of Islamic nations against Israel. And they will go against Israel a people who are at peace without walls and no fear of attack. So at some point, Israel is going to succeed in subduing the nations around them and believe that they’re at a time of peace. And when that happens, the other outer Islamic ringing nations will come against Israel.
Now, we read in Ezekiel 38 and 39 how this great coalition will come against Israel, but the Lord will destroy that army. I mean, we’re talking about supernatural judgments, earthquakes, and hail, and He turns the armies on each other. He sends even fire back onto those countries to burn those countries, all so that God reveals Himself to the world. “Then the nation shall know that I am the Lord.”
And the very fact that God reveals Himself, not through the Church, but through protecting Israel, tells me that this happens after the Rapture. We won’t be here, I believe, to see the Gog and Magog war. Out of that chaos, after the Rapture, the Antichrist will make a peace covenant with Israel. “He shall confirm covenant with many for one week,” for seven years according to Daniel 9.
He will then, in the midpoint of the Tribulation, march into the third Temple and desecrate it. “The wing of abominations shall be one who makes desolate.” “The abomination of desolation standing in the holy place.” He will set up an image for himself to be worshiped. Unfortunately, after he is done desecrating the Temple, the second half of the Tribulation will be a second Holocaust. Two-thirds of the Jewish people are prophesied to be killed by the Antichrist during this time of Jacob’s trouble.
“Two-thirds of it shall be cut off,” according to Zechariah 13, “and die,” but the Lord will preserve, “one-third shall be left in it.” They will be delivered by the Messiah. “The deliver will come out of Zion.” And when He does that, He will take away their sins. “They will look on me,” this is Jesus saying, “whom they pierced. And they will mourn for him as one mourns for his only son, and grieve for him as one grieves for a firstborn.”
They will see Jesus bursting in the sky with you all who are saved following in His wake, watching Jesus just by speaking, belt the enemies before Him, send the Antichrist and false prophet into the lake of fire and Satan into a pit. And Jesus will stand on the Mount of Olives that’s split in two by His impact. And we will see our Messiah in all His righteous fury finally defeat all these enemies of Himself and Israel.
I think you should all join her there. I mean, this is huge. This is the climax of the story. “The remnant,” that third, “will be saved. The Lord will make short work upon the earth.” And He will bless that Jewish remnant. This is the time where He circumcise their hearts to love the Lord your God, and the Jewish people once again, as a people, obey the voice of the Lord and do all He commands. Isn’t that exciting? Yes.
A little more prophecy. Now we get into the kingdom. The Messiah’s going to bless the believing Jewish remnant. “God will make you abound in all the work of your hands.” These are these blessings, remember, that Moses talked about. “The fruit of your body, the increase of your livestock, the produce of your land, the Lord will again,” again, “rejoice over you.” All the way back in Moses, He was prophesying that the Lord would bless the Jewish people once more and that the Messiah would rule from Jerusalem in the latter days, the last days, the Lord’s house, Jerusalem, Zion, shall be established.
“For out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.” “And the Lord will reign over them in Mount Zion from now on, even forevermore.” “Your light has come, his gloriously seen upon you, the Gentiles shall come to the light.” So not only will the Jewish remnant be saved during the Tribulation, but a Gentile remnant as well, for many people’s tribes and tongues. “And I will give you fame,” this is the Jewish people, “and praise amongst the peoples of the earth.” And that’s when the Jewish people receive their inheritance.
“Kings and queens will bow down to them.” Why? Because at that time, in the Millennial Kingdom, “10 men from every language of the nation shall grasp the sleeve of a Jewish man saying, ‘Let us go with you, for we’ve heard that God is with you.'” Let me emphasize that again. God is with you. Not God has abandoned you, or God has washed His hands of you, God is with you. I hope, whether you love or hate the nation of Israel or even the Jewish people, and remember this, regardless of what we mere mortals think, Bible prophecy will be fulfilled. God’s will will be done. And folks, there’s just no stopping it. After all, who can stand against the living God and expect to win?
Now, if none of these arguments have made you want to walk away from here and say Christians must support Israel, then let me give you God’s final warning in Hebrews 10:31. “It is a fearful thing to fall in the hands of the living God.” You have been warned. So I hope you’re no longer asking, should Christians really support Israel? I hope you leave today saying, let’s say it together, Christians must support Israel.
Closing
Tim Moore: Christians must support Israel!
Wow, Nathan, what a powerful way to end your message. I wish we had obviously much more than 28 and a half minutes per Christ in Prophecy television episode because we could have shared much more from your powerful message.
Nathan Jones: Oh, you and me both. But as John said, if all the things Jesus had done were written down, all the books in the world cannot contain the testimony. And that’s why all these sermons are available for people to watch in their entirety on our Christ in Prophecy YouTube channel.
Tim Moore: You know, I’ll never forget Dr. Reagan’s response to his wife’s expression that she sometimes wished that she was Jewish. Hearing him talk about the blessings God has bestowed on Israel, it would be easy to have a little holy jealousy. But as he pointed out, if you or I were Jewish, we would likely still have scales over our eyes to recognize Yeshua as God’s only begotten son and His only means to salvation.
Nathan Jones: Yeah, you can go to Romans chapter 11:7-10, and Paul explains what happens. He says, because of the Jewish people’s disbelief or unbelief in the rejection of the Messiah, He gave them a, He said, a spirit of stupor. He also, He darkened their eyes, and that’s why it’s so challenging to share the Gospel and have the Jewish people accept it. But he said this in verse 11, “Have they stumbled that they should fall? Certainly not.” And that’s where a lot of Gentile Christians make the mistake. They say, “Well, they’ve fallen and they can’t get up,” so to speak, but Paul says, “Absolutely not, the Lord will graft them back in.”
Tim Moore: The Lord will graft them back in, and yet, we see a rise, as we’ve already discussed, in anti-Semitism. Nathan, the very same time, the very weekend that we were having our Annual Bible Prophecy Conference in early June of 2025, there was another conference that was scheduled to be held in the Dallas area. And it was designed to state boldly that Christians stand with Israel and stand with the Jewish people, but anti-Israeli protestors and rabidly pro-Palestinian, and even pro-Hamas people, showed up to disrupt, and they ended up having to cancel that conference over security concerns. And yet many Christians just sit idly by, silent even in the face of such hatred.
Nathan Jones: Yeah, the Israel Summit is a wonderful conference. Dr. Reagan took a bunch of us years ago. It just celebrates Israel and brings support for America. But, you know, it’s interesting, they interviewed the guy who was the organizer for that event, and he called them Jihadi Americans. We live in a time period where we have American citizens pressuring Jewish people to not meet together, so much so that they had to cancel their conference. And actually, I was a little concerned that it would affect our Conference, too.
Tim Moore: Well, I’m certainly glad it did not, and the Lord provided a hedge of protection around us. Well, as we wrap up our series of programs featuring excerpts from our 2025 Annual Bible Prophecy Conference, we pray these messages have been a blessing to you.
Nathan Jones: There’s simply no way to share everything that happened at the Conference, but there are two ways to bring the Conference to you. The first is by calling the number on the screen or visiting our online store to order a copy of either the flash drive or DVD. It contains all of the Conference presentations, along with bonus material and two question-and-answer sessions. For only $25, we’d be glad to ship you a copy.
Tim Moore: The other way to bring a conference to you is to invite us to your home church or hometown. We can bring resources and speakers to bless people in your area with messages from God’s prophetic Word and point them to the blessed hope of Jesus’ soon return. Again, just call the number on the screen or visit our website to explore this opportunity.
Nathan Jones: And to build on the excitement of what God has done and is doing in Israel, the next episode we have is going to be special. We’re going to highlight a new Lamb & Lion Ministries resource, focusing on the land, the nation, and the people of Israel.
Tim Moore: Our new “Israel: His Story” booklet tells the story of God’s love for Israel and His ongoing plan for His chosen people.
Nathan Jones: For now, we hope that these past few episodes have motivated you to Stand with Israel and seek every opportunity to bless the Jewish people.
Tim Moore: We hope you’ll personalize that determination to bless by seeking out a Jew to bless. Tell them you love them because you follow a Jew from Eretz Yisrael, Yeshua HaMashiach. Be a conduit of His sacrificial love this week.
Well, that’s all the time we have today. Until next week, whether Jew or Gentile, we pray that you know the Jewish Messiah, our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ. Godspeed!
