Faith Versus Fury: The Nation of Israel’s Prophesied Future

How has Israel’s ongoing war with Hamas provided opportunities for ministry? Find out with hosts Tim Moore and Nathan Jones on the television program, Christ in Prophecy!

Air Date: March 29, 2025

Transcript

Tim Moore: Shalom, and thanks for joining us today for Christ in Prophecy. Throughout Lamb & Lion’s 45 year ministry, we have proclaimed the Signs of the Times. When this ministry was launched in 1980, all the categories of signs were already manifesting, signs of nature, signs of society, spiritual signs, signs of world politics, and signs of technology.

Nathan Jones: Just stop and consider how each of those has increased in frequency and intensity over the past 45 years. We’ve documented the way all of them are growing exponentially and converging like never before. But the greatest sign of all is the sixth category of signs, The Sign of Israel, and that’s what we’re going to speak about today.

Tim Moore: In 1980, the modern state of Israel was only 32 years old. It had already won a series of wars, stretching back to its War of Independence. From the Suez Canal War in the late 1950s to the Six Day War in 1967, and the Yom Kippur war in 1973, Israel had been bloodied but never beaten. And Nathan, that kind of brings us to the idea that recently, Israel was significantly bloodied again on October 7th, 2023, and we’ve seen great catastrophe around the world as antisemitism is raised to unprecedented levels.

Part 2

Nathan Jones: You would think that the world would stand against a bunch of murderers and kidnappers and rapists, and instead they cheered him on and said, “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free.”

Tim Moore: Yeah, it’s crazy, and frankly, we’ve even seen potential hope of just late, as President Trump and his administration have declared that the United States will own Gaza, in other words, make it a new place, but he wants to bring the Palestinians to other parts of the Middle East, we’re not sure how that’s going to play out, but we see new possibilities for hope. We know prophetically that things will get worse for Israel, even as hopefully in the short run they get better.

Nathan Jones: Well, a major occurrence happened in Bible prophecy in 2005 when George W. Bush had the Jewish people, or the Israelis pull out of Gaza and create Gaza. Gaza is one of the End Times nations, so prophecy fulfilled right there.

Tim Moore: Prophecy fulfilled right there. Well folks, this June, Lamb & Lion Ministries will host its annual Bible Prophecy Conference, and our theme will be, “The Greatest Sign,” focusing on Israel, and God’s providence and protection of the Jewish people.

Nathan Jones: And today we want to give you a preview of what you can expect at our conference on June 6th and 7th.

Announcer: The Lamb & Lion Ministry’s annual conference is just around the corner, and registration is now open. The conference will be held in Denton, Texas, on June 6th and 7th, beginning Friday evening and running all day Saturday. Our theme this year is “The Greatest Sign of All.” Our dynamic speakers will give you and your guests a firsthand perspective on the greatest prophetic sign God is manifesting before our eyes today, the preservation and protection of Israel. Featured speakers include Mottel Baleston, Baruch Korman, Dan and Meg Price, Avi Mizrachi, Tim Moore, and Nathan Jones, with special video appearances by Jonathan Cahn, Mike Huckabee, and Jan Markell. You’ll be blessed and encouraged by the powerful lineup of prophetic messages, celebrating the faithfulness of our blessed hope. Registration is only $20, which covers the cost of registration itself, and a Chick-fil-A lunch on site. Visit christinprophecy.org for additional details and register today. You won’t want to miss the blessing we have in store for you this June. We hope to see you there!

Part 3: Mottel Baleston Interview

Tim Moore: Let’s hear from Mottel Baleston, a Messianic Jewish scholar and evangelist, who grew up in New York City, and came to know Yeshua, Jesus, as a young man.

Mottel Baleston: Shalom, my name is Mottel Baleston, and I am a Jewish believer in Jesus, the Jewish Messiah. I was raised in a thoroughly Jewish home in New York City, and at the age of 21 came to saving faith in Yeshua, in Jesus as Messiah, and Savior. I’ve been involved in full-time Messianic ministry, leading Messianic congregations, doing all sorts of other things.

For the last year and a half, ever since the terrorist attack on Israel in October of 2023, many of us, especially in the Messianic Jewish community of believers in Yeshua, have been alarmed at the insane rise of antisemitism, and the misinformation that seems to be prevalent on the internet. I’ve even seen some believers who should know better get thoroughly involved in some of these ideas that are totally false. We desire to see believers in Messiah come to understand the Jewish roots of their faith.

And while there is no salvation for any individual outside of individual saving faith in Jesus, in Yeshua as Messiah, we recognize that God has a plan and program for Israel currently, and that their day is coming, when they will come face to face with their Messiah. We look forward to that day, and we want to see believers in Messiah on the right side of that equation. And so therefore, we want to see correct information go out.

And to that end, I’ve appreciated for a number of years the Ministry of Lamb & Lion, and the good videos and good teaching that they have put out, and I’m glad to say that I’m looking forward to being able to speak this coming June at their prophecy conference, and looking forward to meeting a lot of the supporters of Lamb & Lion, and to get to listen to the other speakers as well.

I was excited to see the lineup of speakers. There are some men who are in the heartbeat of things. While I’m here in the New York City metro area, reaching the Jewish community here, some of the other individuals who will be speaking are Israeli believers, who are literally on the front lines. And so the believing community of Jewish believers, the community of people coming from the nations need to be united and recognize what time we are in.

Friends, we live in momentous times, we’re seeing literally the last days. Some of the world events could not have, in a book of fiction they would’ve been dismissed, but when God moves in history, He moves.

And so we’re looking forward to being with so many of you for the conference this coming June, looking forward to continuing partnership and collaboration with Lamb & Lion, and just getting out that message that God has kept His promise to, not only to the Jewish people, my people, but He’s also kept his promise to the world, the Messiah has come, and his name is Yeshua. I look forward to seeing you in June. Shalom, shalom.

Tim Moore: Mottel is one of my favorite speakers, because he is unapologetically evangelistic. He eagerly shares Jesus Christ with Jew and Gentile alike, bringing understanding to the Jewish aspect of Jesus’ life and ministry, and the rich beauty of God’s word as revealed through Jewish prophets and writers.

Part 4: Baruch Korman Interview

Nathan Jones: The next speaker we want to introduce you to again is Baruch Korman, and I say introduce again, because Baruch has also been on Christ in Prophecy before.

Tim Moore: I first met Baruch at a church in Lexington, Kentucky. We found that we have much in common. Foremost of all, we both love Jesus Christ, and we both have roots in Kentucky. Baruch is a gifted teacher who speaks English and Hebrew fluently. He and his wife Rivka live in Israel, where he is the senior lecturer at the Zera Abraham Institute. His teachings are treasured throughout the United States, Europe and Africa, where they are widely broadcast.
Baruch and Rivka have three adult children. I appreciate Baruch for another reason as well. Our first videotaped interview was held at the Church of the Savior in Lexington, Kentucky. Filming so far from our ministry headquarters, and studio north of Dallas, I had to rely on a local videographer. The Lord led us to a young lady who has since become an adjunct member of our ministry team. Let’s allow Baruch to describe how he has seen the faithfulness of God at work in Israel, and the Jewish people.

Baruch Korman: And what we want to emphasize is how God is always faithful to His covenantal promises. We see that in regard to Israel’s history, and that encourages us for those who are part of the church, for God is faithful to all of His covenant people. I’m going to be speaking on the theme; “If These Stones Were to Cry Out.” And if they were to cry out, they would also testify of God’s faithfulness, what He has done in regard to Israel, both the people and the land, and what He’s going to do.

Now you can probably tell from my English that I was born in the United States. But nearly 25 years ago, my wife and our three children, we left America and became citizens of Israel. And that was not by accident. We see over and over in the Scripture how God promises especially through the prophets, to bring the people back to the land as the End Times draw near. And that is exactly what God is doing. We see as Messiah taught, that the fig tree, that is Israel, in the last days would blossom. And we are witnesses of this change, a glorious change that is happening in Israel.

Tim Moore: At our Conference in June, Baruch will speak as an American Jew who has lived and served in Israel for years. His topic will be, “If Stones Could Speak.”

Nathan Jones: From his vantage point in Israel, Baruch has witnessed the horrors of October 7th, the resiliency of the Jewish people, the renewed receptivity to the Gospel in such a time as this, and the swirl of prophetic events that prove we are in the last days. He also has keen insight to the horrors endured by the hostages being released by Hamas, and those still suffering under barbaric treatment of those serving as pawns of Satan. Let’s listen as Baruch shares from his heart.

Baruch Korman: Again, I want to talk for a moment before I conclude, about some of the things that are currently going on in Israel. Most of you know that a ceasefire has been reached. And even though we are all rejoicing with the prospect of the hostages being set free, being returned out of captivity, this is as well something that God promises to do for His people, to bring us out of captivity and back to the land.

But let me just simply say that this current agreement is not a good one. Again, we are all thankful every sane person wants the hostages, all of them to be set free, to be able to return to their family, to their loved ones, to a normal life. But unfortunately, the terms of this agreement are not very good.

Now, I want to say one additional point. Many people are wrong about something. They’re saying that Israel could have agreed to this, going back to the previous May. Well, here’s the problem with that. Israel did agree to those terms. In fact, Israel has agreed, and agreed, and agreed, with this ceasefire proposal in order to set free our hostages. It was Hamas that has repeatedly said no. Primarily the big change is this, and Hamas will deny it, and the world will probably support them, and that is at the end of this first phase, if it doesn’t continue according to the agreement, Israel reserves the right to renew the fighting, to once more continue the war.

And let me just say this, wars are terrible. No one wants to see anyone suffering. The mystery, the death, the injuries on both sides are catastrophic. But let’s be clear about something, it was Hamas that started it. And we see that Israel, Israel is fighting for one purpose, to get rid of Hamas. I think we should all agree that no one wants suffering, and hardships, and death, and injuries, to any of our citizens. Whether we’re talking about the people of Gaza, or the Jewish people in modern Israel.

But be assured that once a war is started, the proper way for it to be concluded is by an unconditional surrender. And that is the end of the war that we as people of faith, people who believe in justice should be praying for, that Hamas would be destroyed, that they would unconditionally surrender, and we would see a biblical view for that land of Israel being administered as the Word of God demands, that Israel, the Jewish people, would rule over all the Promised Land. So let’s be in prayer for such a conclusion.

A conclusion by an unconditional surrender, which will give Israel the opportunity to rule over all the land that God, the one true God, has promised His people. We need to remember that until the biblical prophecy is fulfilled in regard to the land, the Kingdom of God will not be established. And every believer should want this fulfillment, this change, happening in Israel, in order that Messiah, He will return and He will establish His Kingdom. For this is what we want, and may the Lord speed this about in our Lord and Savior Messiah’s name, amen.

Part 5: Dan and Meg Price Interview

Tim Moore: In addition to the Jewish speakers at our conference in June, we have also invited a very special couple to bring a message of encouragement and hope. Dan and Meg Price responded to God’s call to go to the Middle East 15 years ago, at a time in life when most people are throttling back and looking forward to spoiling their grandchildren, Dan and Meg packed up and moved to Jordan. They spent time there with refugees, learning the language and sharing the love of Christ in a very dark place.

Nathan Jones: A few years later, the Lord led them to move to Israel. They’ve been pouring into the Druze, one of the most closed people groups in the world. Their engagement with the Druze of Israel has allowed their impact to stretch far into Syria and beyond, as the Druze people are scattered as a minority, and the ostracized people throughout the region.

Tim Moore: But Dan and Meg have also been serving as a conduit of blessing to the Jewish people. First in the Golan Heights, and now in the area around Galilee. Their willingness to live with, serve with, and suffer with the people enduring rocket and missile attacks from Hezbollah has given them a level of credibility that a short-term mission team never achieves. It has also presented them with opportunities to serve the Jewish people on the front lines in the northern region of Israel. Several days a week, Dan and Meg serve at Kiryat Shmona, a town at the northern tip of Israel that sits within what is essentially a no man’s land. Stripped of much of its population, it is still a thriving outpost of hope and encouragement.

Meg Price: Shalom, everyone, Dan and I are so happy to be able to share with you from the volunteer kitchen. The Lord has had Dan and me in the Middle East for 15 years and for nine years in Israel. And after the war began in October of 2023, for the past year plus, Dan and I have been volunteering in the kitchen that has provided meals. Hundreds of meals a day, sometimes as many as 1800 meals on a Friday each week for soldiers who are serving here in the northern part of Israel, along the Lebanese border.

And we are always encouraged and blessed by the number of people, Christians, who come to Israel out of their love for the Lord, out of their love for Israel, and the people of Israel. And so we just wanted to share with you, you can see on the map behind me that we have a map showing where people, the volunteers have come from, and we are so blessed and encouraged, but not only we, because the people of Israel, the soldiers, my Hebrew tutor, as we share about why people are coming, Christians, coming from around the world to work in the kitchen. And during the heavy times of the war, it has been a bit dangerous to be here, and so that speaks to Israelis and to those around us of the great love of the Lord for them.

Nathan Jones: When they’re with us in June, Dan and Meg will share their experience of being grafted into the promise, as they have lived and served in Israel.

Tim Moore: All the guests on today’s episode of Christ in Prophecy are longtime friends of Lamb & Lion Ministries. They have all been given regular financial support, both as sister ministries, and as recipients of special annual benevolence assistance for special projects and outreach opportunities.

Nathan Jones: Lamb & Lion Ministries is able to support other prophetic ministries around the world, because of the generosity of our prophecy partners and supporters. We purpose to tithe our own revenue to help like-minded ministries, especially those serving in areas that are raising financial support is difficult, if not impossible. Well, we consider it a special privilege, to be able to bless the Jewish people, not only because God has commanded us to do so, but because Jesus said He came for the Jew first, and also the Gentile.

Those of us who have been grafted in, as we mentioned with Dan and Meg, have a responsibility to share the Good News of our Jewish Messiah with the children of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. We pray that a great number of Jews receive Yeshua and are included with the Church when Jesus comes for His bride at the Rapture.

Tim Moore: Many of our own donors earmarked funds for Jewish outreach. And when they do, a hundred percent of their contribution reaches ministries in Israel, and direct it at Jewish evangelism. We don’t even hold back the overhead cost of administering or transferring those funds to any of our sister ministry recipients. And we regularly review the finances that impact all our sister ministries to ensure that they continue to be good stewards of the funds we share with them. And that’s one reason why Lamb & Lion Ministries has earned the Ministry Watch Shining Light Award for several years in a row. We are committed to being good stewards of the blessing the Lord has poured out into our ministry, and enthusiastic conduits of sharing that blessing with others.

Part 6: Avi Mizrachi’s Interview

Nathan Jones: The last guest we want to bring on our show today is another old friend. Avi Mizrachi has been on our program many times, and is the founder of Dugit Ministry in Tel Aviv, and the lead pastor of Adonai Roi. He has been to our conference and shared how the Lord is touching lives throughout Israel, demonstrating that only in Yeshua can we find true peace. Avi’s quick to share how Dugit has partnered with Arab pastors in Israel who are also eager to serve the Lord and share the Gospel. There is no animosity between Jews and Arabs who have found kinship in Jesus Christ.

Tim Moore: Listen, as Avi shares a word about the message he will bring in June, as he speaks about a legacy of hope.
Avi Mizrachi: Dear Lamb & Lion partners, my name is Avi Mizrachi, leader of the Dugit Outreach Center in Tel Aviv. I’m so excited to be with you at the June conference in Texas to present also my new book, Legacy of Hope. This is exciting, what God has been doing in the midst of all the turmoil and the war in Israel. I’m looking forward to be with you, share with you what’s going on. For example, we had a wonderful opportunity to bring supplies to the soldiers during this time, and we were able to meet with them, encourage them, and provide the supplies. So again, we want to thank you for your prayers, for your support, we could not have done it without you. So again, thank you so much, and I’m looking forward to be with you in June.

Tim Moore: Even as we’re looking forward to our Annual Bible Conference, Lamb & Lion Ministries is about to celebrate a 45 year anniversary. Nathan, it’s hard to believe that we’ve been proclaiming the soon return of Jesus Christ for 45 years, and that glorious event gets closer and closer day by day.

Nathan Jones: I can’t believe it’s been 45 years. To me, Lamb & Lion Ministries is a ministry about obedience and faithfulness. When the Lord put it on Dr. Reagan’s heart to leave academia and start a Bible prophecy ministry on April Fool’s Day, he stepped out on faith and he was obedient.
I can’t believe 17 years ago, the Lord called me out of Kentucky, God’s promised land, to come down here, and at 17 years now, I’ve been serving, you as well for over 10 years now, coming down, in obedience to the Lord and serving Him here. I could list so many other people, Dennis Pollock, who’s my predecessor. I remember old friends like K. Bean and Gary Byers, and George College and Todd Hutchinson, and so many more have stepped out in faith to make this ministry happen, because we believe in the message that Jesus Christ is coming soon.

Tim Moore: We certainly do. And what a privilege it is for us to serve, and for those of you all who have partnered with us to be a part of this ministry, to declare the Lord’s soon return. You know, Nathan, you mentioned the faithfulness, we have purpose to be faithful. That’s why I talked about the Shining Light Award that we have earned for a number of years in a row from Watch. But what we’re going to celebrate even on March 31st, the actual 45 anniversary fulfilled date, is God’s faithfulness.

You know the great song by Thomas Chisholm says, “Great is Thy faithfulness, Oh God, my Father, there is no shadow of turning with Thee. Thou changes not, thy compassions, they fail not, as Thou has been Thou forever will be.” And then the beautiful refrain, “Great is Thy faithfulness, great is Thy faithfulness. Morning by morning, new mercies, Nathan, you and I see, all we have needed Thy hand that provided, great is thy faithfulness, Lord unto me.”

And indeed also unto Lamb & Lion Ministries. Folks, I’m reminded of John W. Peterson’s beautiful song, “Jesus is Coming Again.” We’ve been given permission to share that over and over again, but it says, “Marvelous message we bring, glorious carol we sing, wonderful word of the King, Jesus is coming again.” And then the beautiful chorus, “Coming again, coming again, maybe morning, maybe noon, maybe evening, maybe soon, He is coming again.” And Nathan, “Oh, what a wonderful day it will be, Jesus is coming again.”

And so He has been faithful to this ministry, now for 45 years, we are privileged to follow in the footsteps of men who came before us, all of us here at Lamb & Lion Ministries serve as others have in the past. You mentioned a number of names, obviously Rachel and Leo Houck were instrumental for a number of years. Folks, we would invite you to continue to join with us as partners, as supporters, or even just praying for us that we would be faithful, because we know that the Lord has been faithful and He will be faithful until Jesus comes for us.

Closing

Nathan Jones: Whether you consider God’s protection of His chosen people, Israel, or His provision for Lamb & Lion ministries and so many others striving to serve Him faithfully, or His amazing grace extended to you and me, we can testify that He is faithful.

Tim Moore: We wanted to share a perspective on Israel from four of the folks who will be joining us at our Annual Bible Conference in June. Obviously, all of them are committed followers of Yeshua, Jesus Christ, our Jewish Messiah, and soon returning King. All of them have experienced His faithfulness firsthand and have dedicated their lives to serving our great God and Savior.

As Jesus said, many times, anyone with eyes to see can see that the Signs of the Times are multiplying before our eyes. Anyone who has read God’s Prophetic Word understands that His promises to the Jewish people have been coming to pass over the past century, just as He said they would in the last days.

Nathan Jones: The regathering of the Jewish people to the Promised Land since the late 1800s, and the reestablishment of Israel in 1948 stand as the greatest prophetic sign of our age. If there were no other signs, the fact that the dry bones have come to life in Israel continues to exist, testifies that Jesus is coming soon. We hope you will join us this June as we dive much deeper into the promises being fulfilled today. Collectively, our conference will offer tremendous encouragement to those eagerly awaiting the rapture, and an urgent warning to those who are oblivious, asleep, or apathetic to the imminency of that glorious event.

Tim Moore: Even as we are recording this episode of Christ in Prophecy in mid-February, events are moving so quickly in the Middle East that new developments on a daily basis seem inevitable. What will not change, and will not be deterred or delayed, is God’s faithfulness to every promise He has made. The father already knows when He will tell His son to go and get your bride.

The only question that will matter when He comes is, were you ready? Will you be gathered with all the church aid saints, given a glorified body and swept into Heaven? Or will you be left behind? The choice is yours, but the time is running out. Choose right now to believe in Christ and receive eternal life before it is too late. Godspeed!
